GPS - a valuable property management tool
Hand-held GPS units can be a great property management tool.
AgForce's GPS workshops cover how to capture property infrastructure with a GPS to assist with property planning, how to navigate around property, save information and combine GPS data with property computer mapping software.
GPS workshops are delivered as 'fee-for-service' through the Fitzroy Basin Grazing Training Reimbursement Program. Attending a GPS workshop costs $490.00 per person. Graziers within the FBA region can receive up to 70% back for the training cost.
GPS workshops will be advertised on the AgForce events calendar.
Contact the AgForce GIS Team for more information.
Which GPS unit is right for you?
AgForce GPS workshops provide you with the tools to make this decision. The Projects team encourage you to bring your own GPS unit to the workshops, otherwise units are available on the day for your training.
Training is nationally accredited and can contribute to a Certificate III in Agriculture. Successful participants will receive a Statement of Attainment for the following unit: AHCBUS301 - Use hand held e-business tools.
Please refer to AgForce Training for more on our policies and procedures and the rights and obligations of learners and the training organisation including fees, refunds, complaints and appeals.
